Privacy Policy

Plain-language version. Last updated July 30, 2026.

Tacoma Junk Pros is a referral service. We collect information from people who want junk removal and we share it with independent local hauling companies so those companies can contact you with a quote. That sharing is the entire point of the service, so we want to be direct about it.

What we collect

  • What you type into our form: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or service address details, property type, timeline, and the description of what needs to be removed.
  • Photos you choose to upload of the items or area to be cleared.
  • A consent record: the date and time you submitted, your IP address, your browser's user agent string, the page URL you submitted from, and the exact wording of the consent checkbox you agreed to. We keep this as proof that you asked to be contacted.
  • Call and text information if you contact us at (253) 323-5993 — your phone number and what you tell us.
  • Basic site analytics such as pages visited and referring source. We do not use this to build advertising profiles about you.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16, and we do not ask for Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. Please don't send them.

Why we collect it and who we share it with

We share your submission with one or more independent junk removal companies in our partner network that serve your area, so they can contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. Those companies are separate businesses; once we pass along your request, their own privacy practices govern what they do with it. We are not responsible for how a partner hauler handles your information after the referral.

We also use a small number of service providers to run the site — website hosting, our database and file storage provider, and an email delivery provider. They process data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own marketing.

We do not sell your information to data brokers or list-resellers. We do receive a referral fee from the hauler we introduce you to, which under some state laws counts as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information — so we disclose it plainly here and give you a way to opt out below.

The exact consent you agree to

I agree that Tacoma Junk Pros is a referral service, not a junk removal company, and I consent to having my name, phone number, email, address details, photos, and job description shared with one or more independent local hauling companies so they can contact me by phone, text, or email about my request. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and I can opt out at any time.

The consent box is never pre-checked, and consent is not a condition of any purchase. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us — though we cannot pull back a request that has already been sent to a hauler.

Calls, texts, and opting out

By submitting the form you're asking a hauler to contact you, including by autodialed or prerecorded call and by SMS at the number you provided. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text from a hauler to stop their messages, or tell them on the phone you'd like to be removed. To stop hearing from us, email or call and we'll remove you from our system.

How long we keep it

We keep lead submissions and their consent records for up to three years, which is how long we may need them to show that contact was authorized. Uploaded photos are deleted sooner — generally within 90 days of the job request. You can ask us to delete your information earlier.

How we protect it

Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in an access-controlled database. Photos are stored in private, non-public storage. Only people who need access to route your request can see it. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee against every possible breach.

Washington residents

Washington's My Health My Data Act gives Washington consumers specific rights over "consumer health data." We do not intentionally collect health data, and you should not include medical details in your job description. If a cleanout request touches on health-related circumstances, we treat that information as sensitive, do not sell it, and delete it on request.

Whether or not a specific statute applies to us, we extend these rights to every Washington resident who contacts us:

  • Know: ask what information we hold about you and who we shared it with.
  • Delete: ask us to delete your submission and consent record.
  • Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information.
  • Opt out: tell us not to share your information with partner haulers going forward.
  • No retaliation: we won't treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these, call (253) 323-5993 or email tacomajunkpros@gmail.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject. We'll respond within 45 days. Washington residents may also file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General's Office.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to make the site work and to measure basic traffic. We do not run third-party advertising retargeting pixels on this site. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still function.

Changes and contact
